When I was preparing mentally for the seminar I thought it will be a quiet event with not many participants. During all practices the dojo was full and everyone was so enthusiastic and cheerful. Maybe because of the unusually hot and sunny British summer, I felt so full of energy and was able successfully to take part in kendo practice. Learning from great teachers is part of the kendo path. I enjoyed every second of this seminar but especially important for me was kata practice. The basic structure of kata is so much different from its deepest meaning. The two opponents are always in close interaction. To feel the synchronisation of movement is mostly a luxury in a regular practice session.
